i dont know your budget, but for the best tv, Samsung is way above the others when it comes to lcds. hd ready means that it will display high def. if you have a high def cable box, full hd should have a built in high def converter so you can pic up high def channels without a high def cable box, but you will still need a subscription. not worth the extra money

Ok well first of all it depends what you want your TV to function as, if you have cable that is HD then you plug the hdmi cable to the corresponding port, easy.

For a 360 you do the same as stated above, or if not you use the white green and blue cables.

The Sylvania LC321SSX 32-Inch HD Flat Panel LCD TV is one of the few entry level LCD TV made by the manufacturer. It is a HD Ready LCD TV which means that it is able to play media up to a resolution of 720p or 1366 x 768 pixels. The device comes with a glossy black finish that looks absolutely sturdy and does not look like it was made from cheap materials. In fact, it looks just as good as with the higher end televisions in the market. Power cord, remote control (batteries are included), quick start guide, and TV stand are what you’re going to find inside the box, and of course the LC321SSX itself. Although the TV looks classy, the remote does give an air of a cheap television. It is highly suggested to use a universal remote instead.

The built in ATSC digital tuner allows the user to receive over-the-air HDTV signals which is good as it is a HD Ready device. However, this may be limited only to countries having over-the-air HD broadcasts which may not be available to many other countries with the exception of the United States and some others.

Although it doesn’t come in Full HD, it works still as good as many other televisions. However, this device may lack a bit of details as compared with other Full HD television due to the lower resolution.
